Get involved
MAGIC Alliance welcomes you to share your interest, enthusiasm, and any expertise
you have in forest or environmental issues. If you’d enjoy walking through woods
to survey the land, meeting with officials on legislative and policy matters, helping
inform the general public of our mission, and working to protect our forests, please
contact us.
Contribute
While MAGIC Alliance depends mainly on unpaid volunteers to analyze the issues we
advocate about and prepare our position papers, we also hire consultants and other
experts to assist with various projects. In addition, we require funding for mapping
software, conference fees, transportation, and routine administrative expenses.
Tax-exempt contributions from people like you help make our work possible. We appreciate
your interest, ideas, and continued financial support. And be sure to tell a friend
about MAGIC Alliance's work!
Mission
MAGIC Alliance’s mission is to connect and expand the greenway system in Maryland
and adjacent states to provide sufficient habitat and usable corridors for wildlife
and plant propagation. We aim to protect and restore ecological richness and biodiversity
and hope that expanded greenways will allow endangered species to recover and destroyed
species to be reintroduced. Read more.
